Delta Sands is ideally suited for the horse needing downtime or the rider wanting a quiet atmosphere.
Socialization is a big part of the horse’s day, as is play and a shared cool drink! Some of our equine guests just need a reprieve from the rigors of competition or time to heal from surgery and other treatments.
Each stall has an attached paddock for 24/7 freedom or structured turnout if needed.
Board is a modified dry; we do all the work; you supply the rest. We feed 4x a day and clean stalls and paddocks twice daily. All stalls are matted, with fans, and measure 10’x12.’ We can help if needed with bandaging, wound dressing, hand and/or tack-walking, lunging, and bathing.
The 100’ x 200’ arena attaches to the perimeter walking trail, which leads to other trails in the rural community. We support and participate in local show circuits throughout the year, as well as mounted fund-raisers and the annual Ride to Vote.
